Ohil Ochs was absolutely one of the greatest. He was also a great guy to know and pick guitars with. I just ran across an old hit parader magazine where they were trying to make him into "the next dylan". Absolutely mindblowing. Does Michael still have Elvises' gold suit? Just wondering..

THANKS FOR THE ADD. IT"S AN HONOR TO BE HERE.
No Doubt if Phil were here today he'd be furiously writing songs. There sure is a lot going on to write about. I'm doing it in my own way. But Phil was the Master protest Songwriter. As Dylan so aptly put it. I can't keep up. We still can't.

I'm one of the lucky people who knew and worked with Phil Ochs. We sat in our chairs over coffee in the morning, as he told us what he wanted to do that day in the Anti-war Vietnam activities. He was a passionate determined person who never gave up singing about what he knew was right and just as importantly: what was wrong. There was a lot that was wrong in those
days, but even with our great new President-Elect, there's still alot
that's wrong right now. I have never been more inspired by or learned more from an individual than I did from Phil Ochs. He stands as one of the greatest individuals ever to sing a song and pick a guitar. He taught me about our movement and how each of us can stand up everyday and contribute.
I am completely overwhelmed with emotion when I think of Phil Ochs and what he means to our movement and to the history of music!- Peace, Love and Justice!-Bartholomew Bishop
