The Philomankind were born in Pisa in 2003
when Marco Piaggesi met Sandro Del Carratore,
sharing common interests in rock music, with a
taste for the classics.
Marco's sister Sara soon joined at the vocals, and
with Doda Mariotti (bass) and Michele Malasoma (drums)
the team was ready for action : they recorded two
records since then; the first "Ask" on LeParc
can be bought on-line (click below to buy), while the second will come out in September 2009 with the new entry Lorenzo Marianelli on guitar.
I Philomankind sono nati a Pisa nel 2003 quando Marco Piaggesi trovò in Sandro Del Carratore interessi musicali comuni. Presto si associarono al progetto Sara, la sorella di Marco alla voce, Doda Mariotti al basso e Michele Malasoma alla batteria. Il gruppo era così pronto a suonare ed a registrare la propria musica. Il primo album "Ask", uscito con LeParc è disponibile online (clicca sotto per acquistare). Alla fine del 2008 un cambio di formazione vede passare al basso Marco Piaggesi e alla chitarra Lorenzo Marianelli. Il secondo album dei Philomankind è atteso per il mese di settembre 2009.
