About me:

Heya! My name is Mummysofia. I got my nickname years ago in jamaica from some young fellows who wanted 2 protect me on dances. Sick of hearing that, i told them I will protect them on the next dance and they started 2 call me mummy from that moment =)

I was born and raised in southern germany near the lake of constance. With 13 years I started to listen to german hiphop and oldschool american hiphop like Beatnutz, Gangstarr, Dj premier, LL Cool J and Turntablizm. I went to ITF Championships and Jams all over Germany. Sick of the new form of german hiphop, I was searching for some more fyah in my life. And I found reggae music. I went to some clashes, concerts and dances and went to Jamaica twice to get into the mood. As long as I listen 2 bashment I love 2 dance on it. I was never a professional dancer but a fanatic. I start 2 support my ladies from Nurmberg the mighty Badda Gyalore and promoting contests in Germany. 2007 I organized the German DHQ Contest with Shaolin Soundstation and 2008 I got a part of United Queendom Promotions. My Crew hosted the National German DHQ Contest 2008 in Erlangen. Tings will continue... BIG UP 2 all my ladies!

Since I was a child I loved 2 travel as well. I have been 2 a lot of places like almost every country in Europe, Belarus, Cuba, Florida (US) Jamaica, Barbados and Kenya.

In 2007 my soul found a new friend : SOCA! Since my trip 2 Barbados I felt in love with this music and there is no doubt I will die with this music. Thank u 2 all soca loving ppl who spread the love. I got addicted 2 the wining , the waving and the jumping! In 2008 I was part of the masquaraders at Berlin carnival of cultures. It was an everlasting experience to be part of the Yard/Escobar crew! In summer 2008 I registrated myself in the Bajan Crop Over Band "Baje International" and jumped on Kadooment Day! 2009 Berlin Carnival takes place again and the "Purple Explosion" and I will wine down di road. Crop Over 2009 is comin' as well and Baje - mi cyan wait 2 jump with u again ^^
I will use the chance 2 greet some ppl as well : My Family, my badda gyalore ladies, all dancing ladies & gentleman in this world, all travel-addicted ppl, all soca loving people, the nuremberg massive, franken-reggae.de crew, all soundsystems, all singers and deejays, the raggakings.net family, my uni ppl, all my friends from the beginning and my berlin party posse!
