Phil Rectra is a solo vocalist who dabbles in 50's pop, Euro-Crooning, Allston Rock, and Contemporary Elecronica. In 2004, Phil recorded and released his first two CD recordings, "Laugh Little Girl" and "Phil Rectra Sings Brel and Walker." Both were mixed and engineered at Dreamworld Studios in Lynn, MA, with Doug Hammer at the helm. Phil just finished mixing the single, "Here You Are", inspired by the non-stop pop over Figawi weekend, 2006. But enough of that. The duets EP is scheduled for release in early 2007. Pre-production has begun on two new efforts: groove EP with The Passion Hi-Fi; and the Post-Rock Record, featuring El Ten Eleven, Explosions in the Sky, and Lungfish.
