Welcome to my myspace page!
I started playing gigs and writing while at uni in Scotland, and followed this up with a tour of the States and Australia in 05/06. Highlights from my travels were gaining substantial college radio airplay in San Francisco (where I played the coffee house circuit) and reaching the final of the highly respected Queensland Songwriting Competition.
I've been back in the UK for two years now and last year recorded and released a live album in an attempt to sum up what I do on stage (including the dubious banter!) for those of you who haven't been able to see one of my shows. Check out the songs above!!
I am performing a solo gig in London on 15th February at the Hope and Anchor in Islington. If you are not around thats cool, and if its not your thing, that is cool to.
i don't know what that means but I shut down my previous account to sign up as an artist :-) how is it going anyway? Are you beginning to close the gap with Jamie Scott ? loll
Good Sunday, Semaphore the popular beat combo will be performing their groovy rock sounds at The Old Blue Last in Shoreditch, London town this Monday the 14th of July. Also performing will be bohemian French rapscallions Coming Soon, Doors are at eight and the door tax 5. Also some far-out live footage of the Semaphore chaps performing is up now in the interzone. Be Polite, loux

actually, no.
funny story.
i heard the song mystery somewhere and i could not remember where i had heard it. i remembered some of the lyrics from the song and wrote them down. i googled them, searched everywhere, and asked everyone. i was talking to michael about the song and how frustrated that i was that i couldn't find it. so i showed him the lyrics.
which he recognized right away.
then he burned me the cd.
the end.
fantastic stuff by the way :)
