About me: This MySpace is for my music blog Phish & Chips. Phish & Chips started out as a radio show on 91.7FM WSUW in Whitewater, WI with hosts Guss and Charlie in fall of 2003. With over 50 shows played and Guss' impending graduation, Phish & Chips put away their tapes and cds only to end up bringing them out again and sharing at their blog. If you like music such as Phish (duh!), Grateful Dead, Tea Leaf Green, Umphrey's McGee, String Cheese Incident you may want to check out the site. New bands are also featured every week so enjoy!

It’s hard to believe, but FGC’s only Wisconsin show of the fall is this Thursday 10/29 at the Miramar Theater in Milwaukee. We’re planning on making it a good one, so hope to see you there!

FGC is back in Wisconsin this Saturday 8/29 for a special show at Tanner’s Grill and Bar in Kimberly, WI. The second annual “Family Affair� will feature several bands, a free pre-party, vendors, and more, all benefitting the Huntington’s Disease Society of America. This is an ALL AGES show! FGC hits the Memorial Union Terrace at UW-Madison for a FREE SHOW on Saturday July 18, with special guests, The Bridge, opening the night. This is sure to be a fun night of music in one of Madison’s most beautiful settings, and we hope you can join us!
Also coming up in Wisconsin at the end of the month is The 3G’s Music Festival (aka Grateful Garcia Gathering) in Black River Falls. It’s the 6th annual celebration of Jerry Garcia’s birthday, and FGC will be headlining the festivities on Saturday August 1. Hey there – FGC is headlining an ALL AGES show at the Miramar Theater in Milwaukee this Thursday March 19. Special guests The Ragbirds and The Overserved Band (all star line-up with members of Fat Maw Rooney, Stealin’ Strings, and Chinese Fingertrap) will be opening the night. Hope you can make it!
