..bird song, tulips, sea breezes, lunar eclipses, irrational acts of passion, fractals, trees in silhouette, crazy tea x1000, five rhythms, Denny Zeitlin's Jazzy Spies Theme, good vibrations, cherimoya as divinity in fruit form, The Book Of G'Quan, things that go bump in the night, things that go bump in the day, avocados, sensuality on a fretboard, lydian augmented, spring and summer in Vienna 1992, Chuck Spezzano's words of wisdom, the tantra of the sharp 11, spirulina breakfast delight, heavy duty Zircon-encrusted tweezers, innuendo, the picture on the inside record sleeve of Dalbello's 'She' album, hyperspace, bumblebees, micro-tonal inflections, ecstatic dance, Amelie, deep massage, the mythological mind, polyrhythms, the Power Cosmic, metaphor, dalias, vivid nightmares, Sillustani in the twilight, whispers in my ear, kything with ultras, glockenspiels, dancing at dawn, mispelt werds, feeling hungry, love honey, analogue compression, triskaidekaphilia, Avebury at 3:00am in the fog, Shawn Lane's augmented waves of sound, a good slap in the face, both original Horror sets of Top Trumps, the gamalan, sandalwood, the Inca Trail, the perfect Thai curry, laughing until it hurts, hearing the sunshine in a piece of music, and so many many more -
Sounds Like
A delectable fusion of Jeff Beck, Mike Keneally, Mahavishnu Orchestra, Frank Zappa & Steve Vai's "Little Green Men" with wild drum grooves, world music sounds, adventurous stylistic changes and progressive melodies. WARM, INTENSE and FREAKY!

Oh I loved this and thought I should pass it along;
"You can't wait for inspiration. You have to go after it with a club." ~Jack London
I can't even begin to calculate how many days of my life were spent waiting for something extraordinary to happen.
Hope if you aren't feeling inspired, you go hunt it down!

Yes, the one with Stefan! I dropped a question concerning quintuplets I recall, heavy stuff. I just read "The Real Frank Zappa Book", don't know if you have read it? I wouldn't be very surprised if you have, hehe. Anyhow, he talks quite a bit about the difficulties the modern day composer faces in getting his/her music performed... Quintuplets, heavy stuff... Perhaps things have improved in the last 20 something years. Do you compose using software or the good ol' blobs on a piece of paper?
Thanks for the reply!-Ahl.
