Wondered if you and your friends might be interested in a discounted subscription to Murky Depths. MySpace plays havoc with links but it seems to work ok if you open it in a new tab or window. http://www. murkydepths. com/cartsub-whitechapel. php And don't forget to scroll down when you get there - there may be another surprise!
Or visit the main site and grab a subscription by instalments.

GRAFFITI HUNTER.Thank you very much,GREAT,GREAT,GREAT works!!!Ciao.......THE WORLD OF STREET ART REVEALED TO EVERYBODY:"ART HAS NEITHER LABELS NOR BARRIERS.-THIS IS A PERFORMANCE,A PERFORMANCE MUST BE PROVOCATIVE,BY GOING AGAINST SCHEMATA AND RULES.-IF EVERYBODY AGREES,THE PERFORMANCE IS A FAILURE.-PRAISE IT OR DESPISE IT BUT PLEASE TALK ABOUT IT.-MY SPACE IS VISITED BY 80-1OO PEOPLE A DAY.-PEOPLE GET COURIOUS.-WHICH IS WHAT I WANTED.-SHOULD THE HUNTER BE A FAKER,WOULD THE PROVOCATION,THE PERFORMANCE BE SUCCESSFUL?-WATCH THE VIDEO ON MY SPACE,WHERE DOES TRUTH END AND FICTION BEGIN?-IT IS IMPORTANT THAT PEOPLE PASSING BY IN THE STREET DO NOT MIX STREET ARTWORKS WITH ALL OTHER MEANINGLESS AND USELESS WRITING.-MY PERFORMANCE AIMS TO DRAW ATTENTION FROM THE GENERAL PUBLIC TO STREET ART,AS IT REMAINS SUBMERGED AND EVEN HIDDEN FROM OUR VIEW.-MY SPACE BELONGS TO STREET ARTISTS TOO.-THEY CAN SHOW THEIR ARTWORKS ON IT WHENEVER THEY LIKE.-STREET ART IS POETRY.

INTERGALLACTIC PROTEST LAUNCHED
BY THE ROBOTS FROM MARS!

The Robots From Mars have launched a protest with the Beetlejuice Gaming Commission. The major issue focuses on the disadvantage that metallic robots have when playing Pong since most robots tend to light up when struck by the game ball.
“But that all depends on the size of the game ball verses the size of the robot,” the Great Butbot advised, “there’s a proper ratio with these things.”
Johnny Air-Guitar, “Getting struck by a ball of light is a real and constant danger…if I light up I’ll give my position away.”
Rob “Rainbow” Marley, “I light up if I’m within six feet of a Pong match. I think it is a radiation thing.”
“You’d light up anyway,” Johnny Air-Guitar added. “You’re always smoking.”
This reporter noted that most of the beings attending the protest in the office of the Beetlejuice Gaming Commission took some of these comments by the Robots From Mars as a joke. But I’m not convinced. I never met a synthetic that had a sense of humor.

ZZ Van Hendrix, “Bowling is even worse than Pong. What robotic ten pin wants to stand around with 9 of his buddies just to get knocked down so that he has to continually pick himself back up again? It’s a senseless stupid ritual! And who gains…some fat old hippie in a tie-dyed T-shirt?
Bowling and Pong are both barbaric. They should be outlawed!”

Talbot's stuff that reminded me of your work was is early "Brainstorm comics" from the 70's: http://images. google. com/imgres?imgurl=http://www. lambiek. net/artists/t/talbot/brian-talbot-1977. jpg&imgrefurl=http://lambiek. net/artists/t/talbot_bryan. htm&h=324&w=335&sz=31&hl=en&start=1&um=1&tbnid=CEl5KNacZWrDlM:&tbnh=115&tbnw=119&prev=/images%3Fq%3Dbrian%2Btalbot%2Bbrainstorm%2Bcomics%26um%3D1%26hl%3Den%26sa%3DN
For some reason it's incredibly rare but goes for nothing on ebay or abebooks. com
I was shocked to find a 30 year old tpb collection in NYC for $2.
