    PHLEX AUDIO is a 16 TRACK analog recording studio located in Aurora Illinois, owned and operated by BOB LUMAN. Bob has worked as a sound engineer, both live and studio since 1989. As lead guitarist for the band AMULANCE, Bob was never satisfied with the results his band achieved in the studio and decided to learn how to do it himself. He began to hone his engineering chops as co-owner of now defunked Aurora based XL AUDIO where he recorded and produced the album Liars, Killers, Master Thieves with his other band BLACKLYST. Live sound experience includes stints at Malo's Rock studio, Riley's Rock House, K-B Productions, Walter Payton's Roundhouse, and touring sound tech for christian metal band SACRED WARRIOR.
