"Where 'ya comin' from?" ---Big brother wants to know!!!
(No not that big brother, you orwellian minded paranoid social clubbers, the Holding Company one. You know, Janice? She's still rockin...)
Influences
Kaptain Kangaroo playing acid rock on vinyl in an RV on a bad trip down a John Denver country backroad chattin' up Carmen Electra while the hillbillies drink moonshine on the Green River and the spirit of Confucious goes floating on down past the rivertown where he meets Mark Twain and drinks bourbon into the grey slit-eyes of the morning...
Stonehenge engineers helping that guy in Close Encounters build his model of Devil's Tower with pulverized potatoes while jamming out on that little alien ditty on a minimoog jacked into a Big Muff through 5 Sunn Model T's cranked to 11 on the arena setting... Mother Fucker. No wonder the aliens have mind control, we ratteled all the teeth out of their heads. Harmony of the spheres baby - as Kepler said.
Don't be lazy: Look us up online! We're tasty and sure to satisfy - like frenchfries. Or hot cocoa. You've got options, visit the website: www.phlux.net. You can get updates. You can get old stuff. You can get pics and movies. You can post your intriguing thoughts on the intriguing b-board. And if you're really lookin' for something intriguing, crank up the MACHINE, the "Intriguing Machine." Get your songs with digital ketchup: you can buy it online at Napster, Rhapsody, iTunes, or this fancy-schmancy Snocap dealy, which is actually part of myspace, we're told. (Finally the Rupert Murdoch purchase shows some benefits. Yay capitalism! Umm... yeah.) Or you can just listen on the myspace player. That's fine. Whatever. There's no excuse for laziness in rock music... Make the click. Mosh da pit.

The band's website, www.phlux.net, has been around for a while. The myspace thing is fairly minimal, so if you check the site you can get pics and other stuff. Check it for tunes, news, more vids, and other items of interest. We'll continue to be adding more to this page, so keep checking back.
The new CD "Intriguing Machine" is out, the game is on, and it'll blow your hair back. We have a new download section so that you can get your mp3's directly from the site, but if you trust iTunes more, you can find us there too.
There are a few unreleased tracks on the website, go to www.phlux.net and check the mp3 dowload page. You won't be finding those anywhere else. Leave us some props on the guestbook if you like it... Oh yeah, and buy our CD - we are so damn independent it hurts. That record label? Its ours. That CD? We made it. All of it. Help us out and keep the dream alive.
