In general I think the current trends in music are crap.

Plenty of good movies out lately but I haven't taken the time to go watch any of them. Too damn busy with work and school. Though we did find time to see Star Trek and the Hangover, both of which were fantastic.
Television
I enjoy Top Gear, Psych, Monk, Burn Notice, Mental, Bones, House, Family Guy, American Dad, the Simpsons, Deadliest Catch and the Biggest Loser, to name far too many.
Books
The pre-reborn religious nut job writings of Anne Rice are among my favorite, as are the Anita Blake stories written by Laurell K. Hamilton.

About me:

I'm Matt, and I'm currently 29. I live and work in Ridgecrest, CA, a small town in the middle of nowhere, which is perfect because no one minds the explosions.

I'm an Electronics Engineer at the Naval Air Warfare Center, Weapons Division, headquartered here at NAWS China Lake. I've been doing my job for just over 5 years now, and sometimes it's great, and sometimes it isn't, just like everything else. But I have pride in what I do.

I was engaged, but now I'm single.

I have a 2008 Toyota Tundra and a 2007 Kawasaki ZX-6R. I also am into computers, racquetball, reading, watching TV, paintball and firearms, as well as the ever popular sleeping in late on weekends. Well, I guess "late" is relative. Whatever. I'm currently studying Systems Engineering through the Naval Postgraduate School. I've maintained a 4.0 thus far and will graduate with my Master's in December 2009.
