Phocus was formed unofficially the day Muneshine and Raks One (formerly Sycorax One) met. Muneshine was living in Saskatoon, Canada, and Raks was in Rochester, NY. The group was officially formed when the two started work on their debut EP (which later became the debut LP, "A Vision and a Plan").
The two released the album in late 2004 with Handcuts/Universal Records (Japan).
Since then, Phocus has started pre-production work for the new album, "Threshold", which will be coming soon.
