How does one go about summing themselves up in one of these things? Let's see... I like to think I'm a pretty outgoing and easy-going person most of the time. I try my best not to let the little things get to me or worry about the things I can't fix right this moment--life's too short for that. I find it almost impossible to hold a grudge for very long; it's a waste of time and energy in most cases and with two toddler boys, energy's not really something I have to waste. I'm pretty shy when I first meet people, but I once I'm comfortable you won't shut me up. I work for Marine Hydraulics International, a government contractor, in the accounting/payroll department; that's what I plan on going back to school for. I never thought I'd enjoy something math-related, but what can you do? A few random facts: I'm a geek when it comes to books; I'll walk around a bookstore for hours just looking. The same goes for thrift stores and yard sales. I'll watch just about any movie once, but I'll take an old black-and-white over CGI any day of the week. I still cry at Disney movies and "It's a Wonderful Life". I'm really bad at pool and bowling, but that doesn't stop me from playing whenever I get the chance. I love roller coasters and road trips. If anything with a good beat that I know the words to comes on the radio, you'll most likely find my windows down and me belting it out like I'm on American Idol. I'm also a craft geek and love to crochet.
