About me:
Hi, I'm John & I started putting on events many years ago. I founded the Boultham Park Music & Arts Festival in Lincoln in 2001 and ran the first 4 of these as free festivals. Costs escalated & for Festival 2005, & we had to charge admittance of £10-00 for the whole weekend. Not bad value for money as our 2 day show has always included 20 + bands, 5+ free hands-on workshops, a fairground plus loads of stands & stalls.
We cater for the whole family & a wide range of interests. A wide spectrum of musical genres & our 2 stages cover a wide range of experiences from new younger musicians to well known names. We have become a much sought after "showcase" event for many younger musicians.

Though we are a voluntary group. We work to the very highest equipment & safety standards, and have a well proven professional team providing all our services, which is one of the reasons it costs so much to put on our shows.
Having reached the level where we can attract 5,000 people over our weekends & put on fairly well known names. We now need a professional Promotions & Marketing Manager to enable us to move to a larger premier venue & put on our next live 2 day festival. Meanwhile our on site Cyber Festival continues to expand as both an agency & community focal point. As we promote a whole range of Creative Arts interests & support creative art & community enterprizes in any way we can. We now, as we evolve into the next "octave", operate as PHOENIX FESTIVALS. Firstly, a feet on the ground, realist with proven ability to take on the position of PROMOTIONS & MARKETING MANAGER. Actual ability is more important than academic qualifications. I have run this show (administatively) single handed for 5 events. Not only do we need someone else to share the workload, but my skills lie "on the field" & not in the corporate area. This is initially, a part time position, but lends itself to providing a worthy income directly related to ability.
Secondly, people associated in any aspect of creative arts at any level.
