Born in Blackpool, Lancs, Phoenix was born in to music inspired by her grandfather, pianist and composer, Harry Williams who played with various musicians on the Blackpool entertainment club circuit in the 1940-60s. At the age of 3, Phoenix was given her first guitar and by the age of 10 was encouraged by the familys' organ teacher, Bill Pinnock, to begin organ lessons as he said she "had a natural ear for sound"
By the age of 19, Phoenix took the guitar seriously and decided that she would focus her life to learning everything she could about songwriting and music composition.

Happy Christmas & A Rockingly Good New Year To Phoenix, Deuce Management and all her fans!
I love Phoenix's current album and cannot wait for the follow up as that will be awesome.
If any visitor to this profile reads this comment I highly recommend checking out Phoenix being interviewed by the cool DJ Nick Ferret on Deuce Radio's podcast - the link to Deuce Radio is via http://www.deucemp.com
Almost 1 hour of interview gold there as Phoenix reveals all about her life, inspirations, family, fave acts and her appreciation of her fans.
It was really cool to hear Phoenix for the first time being interviewed and I so dig her sense of humour, fun and honesty.
Possible DUET suggestions for 2010???
1) Martyn Rapley (a good friend of mine and ace acoustic guitarist. electric, spanish guitarist and vocalist - original and covers music) also at MySpace would pay good money to see this and the pairing would be very complimentary for both artists and fans alike
2) James Morrison.....as revealed for you to discover!
3) Gaz Coombes (from Supergrass) loved his Late In the Day song from Supergrass's 'In It For The Money" Album
4) Noel Gallagher - am a huge Oasis & Noel fan like Phoenix2) Thea Gilmore - also on MySpace and similar type artist
5) Suzanne Vega - a great Canadian songwriter who is very good live and wrote one of my favourite songs of the 1980's, the smash hit Luka and Queen & The Soldier....well worth checking out
6) Thea Gilmore - very talented singer songwriter - just bought her absolutely top album called Recorded Delivery which is utterly awesome and a duet with Phoenix would be manna from heaven
