And my son, because he's never afraid to be himself. He is unique and creative and smart and always does his own thing. I wish I had it in me to be the true me all the time like he does. |

About me:
I'm a single mom with two awesome kids, a daughter who's 14 and a son who's 9. I work from home in my own business, and am working on my career as a writer and artist. I love altered art and found art, collage, mixed media, jewelry making, paranormal investigation, and candle making. I write poetry and non-fiction(usually to do with child development/care or art/journaling). I also spin my own yarns, knit, and crochet.
I high school I wanted to be an English Professor so I could write, someone else could teach my classes, and I could still get paid! Ahhhh, lofty dreams. I was the quiet one. The one who didn't get noticed or draw much attention to myself, and I'm still that way. Not that I'm a follower by any means. I definitely do things my way.
My writing and art career are really taking off and I have many assignments sitting in the que. It's very exciting to see this part of my dream come true.
I hate housework, laundry, and grocery shopping. I could find a lot better ways to use my time, but there seems to be this standard people hold as to how a mom should behave and how her house should look and that she should actually feed her kids, so I do it just to make my family and the neighbors happy.
I'm perfectly normal, but most of the time way off center. I'm very grounded and level headed, except when I'm moody and unrealistic.
I love art, life, music, movies, flea markets, auctions, writing, candles, raggedy ann and andy, and animals. People irritate me. Late people really irritate me. Dishonest people infuriate me.
