Songwriting is pure, delicious fun. The only thing I like more than writing a song is singing it. Songwriting is a gift that has kept giving, and I’m grateful to the guy who first suggested I try writing a song. Thanks, yo.

I first started singing my songs a capella at poetry readings, open mics and festivals. I thought of them as poems with a melody. More recently I've picked up the guitar which adds some new colours to my palette. But they're still poems with a melody.
