PHONEFREAK
Welcome to the Phonefreak space. Phonefreak formed in 1994 as a 4 piece and played solidly for 5 years splitting in 1999. In between times the members traveled the world and returned to play in other Aberdeen bands, Star, Stuka and Elevation. Phonefreak reformed in January 2006 and played their first gig in seven years at Cafe Drummond on 15th April 2006. The line up inlcudes the three original members; Ewen, Martin and Gordon, unfortunately Carl's (congrats on getting married btw) other commitments means we are now just three.
We recorded 5 new songs at The Mill Studios in Crathes in September 2006, four are up now. Big thanks to Niall for the recording and to Lynsey Armour for the ace new b&w photos.
I edited my profile with Thomas' Myspace Editor V4.4

I'm sending you some large-bosomed bozies over t'internet as I can't make your gig th'night (ma boy is 6 th'morn!). Mind 'n' blow them Grim Northern dudes off the stage!
Alright guys, listened to your first song, its amazing. It reminds me of early verve and is very atmospheric - right down my street! Guitar playing has the perfect combination of reverb and delay, something I've been searching for ages!!
As for the others, Black Steel is a cool cover, sounds quite like the tricky version but with live guitars sounds well good!
I may have to check you out next time you're playing in the 'deen!
