Hailing from Bochum (Ger) PHONEY14 was founded by conversant Punkrockers in march 2004 as a 3-men-standard-cast. Now Guitar, Bass & Drums and several voices give this band an unexpected sound full of melody, energy and emotion. According to reviews and press PHONEY14 is going to be one of the upcoming german punk rock bands, proven by countless shows all over Germany - always accompanied by best response of the press, confident organisers and of course a rapt audience ! On 09.29.2006 PHONEY14 released their second EP "Songs from the Ruhrcoast" includes six tracks full of energy, emotion, and melody in a high-quality production by Markus Schlichtherle at Recorder-Studio Bochum (Sick of it All, The Bones...). This EP is released by the young Berlin-based indie label "Record of the Year".
