About me:
As the Berlin Ice cap retreats towards the Northern Pole, Schillerkiez is revealed in all it's fresh spring Glory. And as a new generation of hipsters, seeded by Airbus A319s in the gloom of winter, poke their neon Raybans into the sun's full glare and gambol on their unsteady, twigg-like legs, we weep as local rents approach €10 a square metre But do not despair- that fearless group of grumpy old bastards known as The Phoneyisland Cabaret can at least offer a few hours respite in a smokey room on SAT MAY 4TH AT 8.30 PM IN THE LANGE NACHT we'd love to see you, and any spare change, there.Who I'd like to meet:
Phoneyisland, the most famous cabaret in Schillerkiez, operates in the tradition of the working class music hall; if it's entertaining we will put it on. We would love to meet musicians, writers, comedians, street performers illusionists and just about anyone who loves performing for an intelligent and supportive audience. If you have well developed sense of humour and don’t write too many songs about yourself or your lovers, please get in touch and we’ll do everything we can to make it your best show yet.Stream

Check out the Phoneyisland Cabaret facebook page for updates- if that's your thing
We’d like to thank the performers and audience for an evening of superb entertainment at the Phoneyisland Swing Nite and wish everyone a Happy New Year.
