What metaphor or image would be fitting here? Perhaps getting lost in a ocean... heavy, kind of sad, dark. Or perhaps our music is like an open field, and the sky is opening up as sweet sounds from all over are mingling. Or perhaps this is a silly exercise?
We are a trio of multi-instrumentalists whose roots range from folk to indie to shoegaze to post-rock to ambient to experimental to electronica. We sing and play guitars, keyboards, bass, and drums. We also make electronic beats and trigger a few samples. We try to enjoy what we do as individuals. Then we try to inspire each other.
We try to switch it up a bit, and no one stays on any instrument for too long. But the sound we tirelessly search for is the same: fresh yet familiar, overwhelming yet delicate, always devastating, always beautiful.
