PhotographN.com opened it's doors online in late 2005 under another name (metalXcore.com) to showcase live concert photography, band interviews, show reviews, and album reviews for metal, hardcore, death metal, thrash metal, metalcore, and punk rock bands... basically, any music that is LOUD!
My (Alan) archive of photos, reviews, and interviews goes way beyond 2005, though... I have been involved in underground metal radio in the Bay Area (KCRH 89.9 FM) and Tampa, FL (WBUL 1620 AM, Pirate Radio 102.1 FM) since 1993 and have cassette tapes full of band interviews (mostly from 2001-Present) and a computer full of concert photography.
In 2007, I changed the website name to PhotographN.com (Photograph'N). I decided that having band interviews, show reviews, album reviews, and concert photography was way too much for one person to handle (in the limited time that I can allow for the site).
So I dropped everything except for the concert photography, which was always my favorite part of the site anyway. Now, PhotographN.com is here exclusively to showcase my concert photography. Although my main focus is still on LOUD ROCK music genres, the broader name of PhotographN.com gives me an opportunity to showcase my concert photography which does not fall in the LOUD ROCK music genres.
If your band is on the friend list here, please do not send my personal profile an add request. I don't need you on two of my profiles.
* Jan 2008 quick update: please ONLY USE Mozilla Firefox or Apple Safari web browsers to view PhotographN.com. I don't know what's happening now, but many features of my site will not work for me in Microsoft Internet Explorer 7, and so they might not work for you either...
