yer mom............
tell her I said "hey",
the ongoing battle between me and my arteries, genetic anomalies, light bulb jokes, the bacon tree joke, the 'how do you make a 3rd grader cry twice' joke, writing, painting, fixing things, making things, joy in general, food, sleep, dreaming, stories, memories and projections, live and local music of all kinds other than the "generic-white-dude-in-a-baseball-cap-with-a-guitar", emo and crappy cover band genres, drinking less, quitting smoking... again, seriously considering getting back up on stage, crossing the line of what is appropriate to say, office thuggery, righteous anger and revolution
Music
lately- Rancid, Modest Mouse, Talib Kweli, Mos Def, Me'shell Ndegeocello, Citizen Cope, Bill Withers, Stevie Wonder, Michael Franti and Spearhead, Ben Harper, Marvin Gaye, MC Chris, Nil Lara, Manu Chau, Prince, Rufus Wainwright, and Sublime. Funk, hip hop, folk, punk, jazz, latin, soul, reggae, more funk, music that makes me shake it, political music, music to revolt against the system by, a few select jam bands, some otha stuff
Movies
I like funny movies. I like movies where the protagonist is an antagonist. I don't like very scary movies because I'm already prone to paralyzingly horrifying nightmares. I like movies that challenge religious and spiritual ideas and ideals. Mystery, sci-fi, a few Pixar movies. Also, any movie with your mom in it... or your little sister. You're little sister is hot.
Television
rots your brain. actually I don't even have a tv. I got rid of it when X-files went off the air but Lost is my shit - I will cook Lost up, crumple some stainless steel screens, stuff them in a glass stem with Lost and smoke that shit. Later I will preach about how Lost was introduced to urban streets by the man to keep my people down
Books
anything by Christopher Moore, especially Lamb: The Gospel According to Biff, Jesus' Childhood Pal or books by Tom Robbins, especially Skinny Legs and All and Jitterbug Perfume. Ishmael, The Red Tent, Celestine Prophesy and The Tenth Insight, phsychology text books and the dictionary.
Heroes
Whoever put the bop in the bop shebop shebop, Woody and Arlo Guthrie, Richard Pryor, George Carlin, Einstein, Mother Jones and Darling Nikki. aim high.
Who I'd like to meet: people with at least 3-dimensions. people who don't sound like every other sentence out of their face is a question because they have no ownership or commitment to their own ideas.
There once was a woman named Phred Who was funny and cool and well-read. If her clitty was longer And just a bit stronger I'd be spending my nights giving head.
