    Phunktjan represents function, funk, and electronic music in perfection! Phunktjan’s euphoric DJ-sets are characterized by the ideal interplay of a wide variety of driving house sounds and influences from almost every musical genre you can name. In his sets he creates fresh remixes with the skilled introduction of loops, acappellas and effect-tools. The impressive diversity in these sets can be ascribed to his 12-year career as a DJ, which he originally began as a member of the Hip-Hop scene. Today, Phunktjan artfully transfers skills he acquired as a Hip-Hop DJ to give his house sets a very distinctive touch. As a Cologne-based DJ, not only does he continue to perform at the finest clubs of the Republic but also rocks the crowd abroad to this day. In addition to Phunktjan’s activities as a DJ he has been the promoter and organizer of events with up to 2500 guests and is also a regular member of the Raveline editorial team. Representing Raveline, he has already had the opportunity to met and interview many stars including David Guetta, Sebastian Ingrosso, Laidback Luke, Funkerman, Tiesto, Eddie Thoneick, Avicii, Martin Solveig, Arno Cost, Deichkind, John Dahlbäck, Roger Sanchez, Mark Knight and many more. DJ Phunktjan’s debut-single “Don’t Look Back” was released under the Dutch label Dirty Soul Records, a sub-label of Be Yourself Music featuring artists such as Dada Life, Inpetto, Jody Wisternoff, Nicky Romero, Ida Corr, Phil Fuldner and many more.
