The Band Phused(Fused) formed in Charleston, SC is quickly becoming a major player in the cover band scene. "Piano Man" Manuel Gutierrez, Drummer Martin P. Baker Jr. "Marty", Guitarist Joe Fisher and Percussionist Keanan M. Nelson formed Phused in early May of 2008. During a Short run as a quad Phused quickly found its niche in the Carolina music scene. With an increasing fan base and demand for more content it was quickly determined that the band increase in size. During the reconstruction phase of Phused, Lead Vocalist and Guitarist Joe Fisher left the band to pursue a solo career. To avoid a musical collapse with the loss of Fisher a new approach was established eliminating the "Lead Vocalist approach" having all members of Phused fronting the selections performed. In late July of 2008 Vocalist Allan Epperson and Guitarist/Vocalist Alan Newton became the new additions in Phused and this Fresh, Young, Charged group sees nothing but the goal of capturing the hearts and musical souls of audiences large or small. The name Phused describes the makeup of the band. Full of diversity, range of age and musicianship. The members of Phused not only enjoy the music they play but, also love to get the crowd on their feet! Phused is the type of band that plays the songs "everyone forgot they knew but loves". Compared to a jukebox, Phused entertains their audiences with a catalog of music that would include, current tunes to mainstream, Americana, 80's, 90's, Rock, Classic Rock and smooth R&B. Phused takes a linear approach taking the craftmanship of the songs and recreating them in a Phused fashion still maintaining the integrity and artistic value intended by the artist.
