Bio
Bristol artist/composer/producer, UK, DO played drums and percussion with Nautical William between '87 and 92'... He grew up in Folkestone, Kent, went to Canterbury Art College and moved to Bristol in 1987 joining the band Nautical William. They gigged all over UK and a number of dates in Europe achieving radio 1 airplay with "Love" and "Love House", produced by John Parish (JP and PJ Harvey) and Jessica Corcoran (Voice of The Beehive etc) respectively. They supported Airhead on a number of dates, also Osibisa, The Blue Aeroplanes and The Brilliant Corners. Recorded "Roller Coaster Ride" EP with NW which included a cover of The Beatles "Come together" produced by George Shilling (Gabrielle, Steve Winwood, Corrs, Yazz, Primal Scream, Airhead...) When DO left the band, he spent time in PIJ studios in Bristol for a year alongside Corin Dingley now with Alpha and Horace Andy and then took a much needed break music to concentrate on visual art. He recently signed a publishing deal with Just Another Label Ltd which are available for licensing. -
