Interests

  • General

Writing is my first love. My book, Living Nightmares of Abuse, was released January 30th 2005. I am currently writing a fiction fantasy. If I am not working on my new book, I am usually writing articles to publish on the Internet. I like to read good books, mostly non-fiction but have been known to read other genre. I enjoy spending time playing ball with my dogs outside or cooking on the fire pit. I also enjoy tending the flower and vegetable gardens.
  • Music

I like all types of music. One of my favorites, Booker T. and the MG's. I listen to music depending on my mood, what suits me best.
  • Movies

I don't watch many movies unless they are on TV. I am far to busy most of the time with other things going on to watch TV. I like movies about animals, mostly dogs...
  • Television

I like The Food channel, or good family movies.
  • Books

.. My book, Living Nightmares of Abuse, can be purchased from PublishAmerica for $24.95 in either soft cover or hard cover. Purchase my book .. at PublishAmerica.com You can also purchase my book at Amazon,b&n or most any on line book store. Visit me at my website www.freewebs.com/dianesfantasy Other books that I have read: Bastard out of Carolina, Mackenzie's Mountain, Our Town, Childhood Lost by Dalles McKinsey. After reading Dalles's book, I wanted to scream. A book that you will want to read. Also recently, I finished MALLEY & ME by John Crogan. If you are a dog lover like I am, you will want to read this book. It is funny, sad and sure you can relate to some of the events that take place.  I just recently finished reading "The 3rd Covenant" by David Brollier. It is a wonderful detective, suspenceful, Christian novel. I enjoyed every minute of reading it.

how far we get in life determines how much we believe in ourselves, how hard we're willing to work, and our attitude towards life and the things we go through

always dare to be different for it's better to be original then to imitate the lifestyle of someone else. Don't let the world change you but be proud to be you

Just wanted to let all my friends know how much they mean to me and how beautiful and special you guys are.  Each of you holds a special place in my heart and I am glad that you guys are a part of my life for you all play an important role in it.  Anytime you feel the world is on your back or that people are against you or you are facing tough challenges in life, say this to yourself, it is something I tell myself when I go through hard times:

I am determined that nothing and no one is going to bring me down in life because I know who I am, what I stand for, where I want to go in life, and everything I have to offer in this world. I believe in myself and most importantly I love the person I am :)

if people choose only to remember the flaws about someone, then they are the ones who will never benefit from knowing the person who's made positive changes

Hey girl! I was just thinking about you a few days ago. I hope you are doing well.
The book? Well, uh..well, uh. lol Hard road, very hard but walking on faith and trying not to let it get to me so much. Easier said than done.
I am doing alright I guess, just been pushing myself for to long and it caught up with me big time.

one of the best things about getting a second chance in life is that you're in control and you decide who you want to be as you rewrite your life story.

We may be ordinary people but we were put on this Earth to do extraordinary things. I believe we each have it in us the strength and power to create an impact and make a change in this world . We just have to search deep within ourselves and find that courage and that strength that lies in our hearts and put it to use in a good, positive way that will bring about the change that this world needs .
