Our House Band, the famous 'GINGER PIG BAND' play once a month with there ROCK 'N' ROLL & RHYTHM and BLUES. They bring the house down each time, inspiring even those who don't fancy dancing! Paise Be!
WE even have special appearances by the famous JAMES TAYLOR QUARTET, representing the charity CAN.
DJ wise we offer many a sound ..Funk & Soul with JACKIE ALLSORTS and MARTIN DE SOUZA.
Disco, Broken Beat, House, Funk, Soul, Jazz, Hip Hop, Disco, Drum n Bass and anything that tickles the ear, Funk, Soul and breaks are played by all of our favourite DJ's - ALEX D'ARCY, JEZ WILLIAMS, AIDY WEST, RIK MORAN, PUSH DJ'S, ADAM NAKED, BLACKCATFOUND and more ....
We pride ourselves in having a great range of background music, giving us that Cafe De Paris feel mixed with some Ella Fitzgerald, Rat Pack, Chill out, City Lounge beats which progresses into a pre club feel in the evening.

About me: The Picturedrome is a Historic Building, first created as an old Picture House. Not only is it beautiful and stylish, it's centred in the heart of Abington in Northampton, in a thriving community.
Happily, the Richardsons Group have restored this unique old building to it's former glory.
The Picturedrome is an amazing venue, which offers a restaurant, a venue bar and stage, newly refurbished mezzanine and outdoor terrace.
We offer a wide range events including:
Monday Evenings: 8.00pm - Recent Blockbuster films
The 1st and 3rd Tuesday of every month - Comedy Evenings
Wednesday evenings - Jazz or Acoustic Live and Unplugged Music
The 1st Thursday afternoon of the month - Tea Dances for the elderly
The 2nd and 4th Thursday of the month- The Velvet Society- the best acoustic music around!

We also hold Charity Concerts, Dance performances, Film Showcases along side the University College Northampton, Conferences, Private meetings and various kinds of parties.
Our famous New Years Eve Parties are legendary - as we host a full dress up affair with no expense spared to transport you to another dimension, accompanied by great music and a fantastic atmosphere.
Our staff are the friendliest in town, with a great attitudes and always ready with a smile.
To date, we have even had the honour of hosting Jo Whiley on her journey back to Northampton, bringing her guests 'ATHLETE' to grace our stage and play live on radio one.

We open our doors to all the local residents in the Kingsley / Mounts area of Northampton.
We also love to see travellers from afar, students from all corners of the University College Northampton, Comedy Lovers, Film Buffs and anyone after a quiet pint to those after a laugh and a good time! Those who love Live Music are also in for a teat as we offer live & unplugged acoustic sessions to lives bands on Saturdays.
We are also Children friendly, and accept kids up till 5.00pm ... and then accompanied by adults after 5.00pm.
Oh, here they come...Wilson monkeys live with lights and all-sorts this Saturday, March 22nd at the world-famous Picturedrome. Admission is free so come and see.
