PICTURE SHOP, c’est la rencontre de Quentin Leroux, compositeur et multi-instrumentiste, et de Christophe Ménassier , batteur compositeur et sound designer.
Souhaitant mettre en commun leur sensibilité artistique, leur expérience et leur propre vision de la musique, ils ont l’idée de créer un album « cinématographique », une sorte d’ hommage à deux voix au septième art. L’idée est de proposer leur musique, voire d’inspirer une scène, une histoire aux faiseurs d’images, réalisateurs, scénaristes…
Plus d’un an de recherches, d’essais, de bidouilles et de prises « live » seront nécessaires pour obtenir cette « B.O » ou chaque titre est pensé comme une ambiance, un thème… Une musique moderne adapté au cinéma d’aujourd’hui.
L’ouverture musicale et les goûts éclectiques en matière de cinéma de chacun des deux musiciens se retrouvent dans cet album pluriel.

When Quentin Le Roux, writer and accomplished musician, meets Christophe Ménassier, writer, drummer and sound designer... Wishing to gather their artistic sensitivity, experience and their own view of music, they have the idea of creating a "cinematic" album, sort of a "two-voice" tribute to the Seventh Art. The aim is to suggest their music, and even to inspire a scene or a sequence to the image makers, directors and film writers... More than one year of research, experiments, do-it-yourselfings and "live" sound recordings will be necessary to get that "original soundtrack" where each track is thought as a set, a theme... A modern music adapted to today's motion pictures. The two performers' musical open-mindedness and theur eclectic taste of cinema are drawn in this plural record.
