Pictures of Then formed in 2007 and immediately set to work finding a sonic balance between reverence for the past and vision of the future, fashioning a sound that reflected their aptly chosen name (www.citybeat.com). Their often diverse sound, ranging from sonic rock anthems to Beatles-esque sing-alongs, perhaps finds a common thread through their unique and appealing vocal stylings and a tendency to fuse indie rock with retro-style.
