The rule the band has for it's self is they must have more fun than anyone else at their shows...........but this is what ends up happening for all! 'Less is more' is the formula implied with this power trio. On top of this you add vocals that are completely unexpected. What's different is the unique perspective on rock music and super tight live performances. Songs that are sculpted to keep people dancing and carry your attention for the whole show, creating melodies and rhythms that are simple and profound. Since 2004 the fan base for Pie Boys Flat has been growing all over New York city, the U.S., and abroad! With their history of playing live shows around the world PBF has crafted an original live experience that you don't find anywhere else. Known for writing songs that cross many genre's (from rock 'n' roll to reggae, blues to bluegrass, latin rock to funk) they bring all the styles home every time with very unique arrangements. In the last two years Patrick, Fitz, and Jason have also been joined by Eddie Lehwald from Baltimore on keyboards and vocals. Eddie is the perfect addition to this trio. He's totally on the same page and brings the only tones that could be added to what is already a super tight package. Their mission is to move through the uncertainty of a rapidly changing music industry, against the current of economic crisis, toward the production of their second and best album in the fall of 2010.
