Piedmont Talent was founded in 1989 and has grown steadily ever since. The agency was founded out of a love of blues and roots music and has never strayed from that focus. Director, Steve Hecht, is a recipient of a Keeping The Blues Alive award for Agent/Manager of the Year; an award given out annually by The Blues Foundation. He also is on the Advisory Board of The Blues Foundation, having served two terms on the Board Of Directors. With over 20 years experience as a booking agent, Steve knows how to work with all varieties of promoters needs, whether they be major seasoned promotion companies or down home Blues Society events.
At Piedmont Talent we strive to make the booking experience simple and stress free by treating the buyers openly and honestly so all parties involved in the performance have a positive experience. We are the oldest and most experienced blues based agency in the business. The dedicated staff of Michelle Kaplan, Tina Terry, Emily Berger and Mark Coltrain maintain a level of honesty and integrity that has helped Piedmont Talent gain the trust and respect of artists and buyers world-wide and has set the standards for service and detail for other agencies to follow.
Two great Piedmont artists, Debbie Davies and Smokin' Joe Kubek, are the featured artists on my Myspace page. Please stop by to check out the great slide shows! Smokin' Joe Kubek

Sean Costello: The blues community has lost a bright and soulful star. This is a hard loss to comprehend, he was so young and had just put that new disc out. My thoughts and prayers are with Sean's friends, family and loved ones. B.J. in Omaha
