I make electronic music of various types, mainly stuff which hovers somewhere between ambient music, experimental rock, impressionistic classical music and electroacoustic music. I use a combination of Audiomulch, Adobe Audition, a vast array of plugins, as well as some of my own VST creations made with SynthEdit and Max/ MSP. I use a lot of instruments as starting points for my pieces: cello, guitar, percussion, flutes, voice as well as field recordings, found objects, toys and synthesizers (software, Yamaha DX-7, Casio CZ1000).
I also (have) play(ed) in various improvising groups on cello or computer. These include a cello quartet with Matt Brubeck, Anne Bourne and Kevin Fox; and ...And His Orchestra, a quintet which combined electronic music and free jazz. Currently I'm playing in a trio with Brandon Valdivia and Colin Fisher called I Have Eaten The City, as well as in Picastro and in a cello duo with Tilman Lewis called the Knot.

About me:
I am a Toronto based musician/ composer. I play in the groups Picastro, I Have Eaten The City, The Knot, and contribute to various other projects. I also make electronic music under my own name and the alias Piège.
I have done a great deal of collaboration with artists in other mediums especially various types of theater, and visual art. I would like to meet other musicians and artists who are interested in collaborating (see my top 8 for audio samples of my stuff).
