------------------------------------------------TIKI is the voice of Piel.
Outspoken with her stylized ideas for the music, she gives the band vitality and direction. Weather under the influence of Grace Jones or mushrooms, she leads the band into a whirlwind of unforgetable performances. Growing up in Chicago she enjoys people who are strait forward and to the point of matters.

--------------------JAWNEE is the glue that fits the different pieces together and makes them blend into what you would call a smoothie of musical orgasms. He grew up as a bassist in Los Angeles, listening to everything from Stevie Wonder to 90s rock bands like the Deftones and Faith No More. Jawnee also soaked in the stream of electronic music such as Square Pusher and Aphex Twin, where his fascination for insanity and producing kicked into high gear.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------BOBBY the molecular keyboard/vocal hype-ist is the fire of the live performance. Bring-in a love of hedonism and chaos. Bobby is sure the bands nuclear weapon of sonic display. Growing up in what you would call a jungle of noise, he shows only love to your ears as you rock to Piel live.

--------------------------------FRANK is simply the MASTERSLAVE, the drummer who will dazzle you with his drive and cosmic personality. Beware women and men!!!!

-----JOEY and STEVE add an atmospheric, orchestral layer with their pedals and bows. They, along with Pete, have cut their teeth playing with such established musicians as Perry Farrell and Ricki Lee Jones.

-----PETE is a musical veteran. At 19, he began touring with Paul Butterfield on guitar. He also played with Tito & the Tarantula, where he was featured in the Quentin Tarantino film From Dusk Till Dawn. Pete's wealth of experience, shows in the complex chord structures and textures he produces. It was Pete who came up with the name for the band. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ -----JEREMY has worked behind the scenes with Tiki and Jawnee to write songs for Piel. He is a forceful string dancer whose background includes playing live with underground rapper Aceyalone.

"Babble On" is one of the sexiest tunes I've heard in a while. It's the sort of song that makes me want to dance around in a speedo and cowboy boots waiving glowsticks.
