Pier101 band - Always had many fond memories of our Ventura Pier. A place my Father use to take me fishing as a kid and now a welcome site coming home from a trip up north or a gig and always a great place to take my mind off things. I'd walk to the end and look back at Ventura and realize just how small my troubles really are. It's always been there for me ever since I can remember.
Our pier is also in a town where I've been blessed to meet some of our area's finest musicians and now good friends. To name a few;
Anita Leal (vocals) - Raised in Santa Paula and now residing in Ventura, Anita always fills the room with her beautiful voice and brings charm, class and energy to Pier101.
Thai (drums) - Known Thai for years and my tomodachi for life, Thai lays a steady pocket beat that can't be beat.
Mark Getten (bass) - A pro out of Philadelphia but now calls Ventura his home, played and toured with bands Wanderlust and FEEL, and now AM and Sharon Little"
Isidro (Rosie) Yanez (saxaphone) - Once you hear him, then you will know why we all call him Rosie (plays ever so sweet!!) Easily one Ventura County's best. Isidro teaches sax in T.O. and has played countless gigs all over including Puerto Rico.
Greg Godfrey (keyboards) - Greg plays professionally throughout Ventura County. Also teaches band for Filmore High and also middle school. Greg plays all styles exceptionally well and does it with an unforgettable smile.
Our song list is pretty much all over the map ranging from lounge, latin dance to funk, R&B and rock which really helps us adapt to many situations we come across. We'd be honored to play for your event and ready to work for and with you through the planning stages and song selection of your Wedding, Corporate, Fair, Festival, Restaurant, Bar, Birthday etc.
