Pierced is an energetic and melodic pop-punk/rock band that has been turning some heads in Wisconsin and beyond. With catchy melodies, meaningful lyrics, and award winning guitars, Pierced's songs are very innovative. The members of Pierced finished their debut album in the summer of 2006. It is called "Shed Happenings". The album name is in honor of the recording shed that Pierced likes to call "Six Short Studios."
On garageband.com, Pierced has dominated the top 20 songs on the current
pop-punk chart .
Just recently on Garageband.com, Pierced's song "Only On Tuesdays" was voted
number 1 best guitars
out of over 2,600 pop-punk songs!
Also, both of the songs "I Wish I Didn't Care" and "Only On Tuesdays" were recently asked to be in a flipping cool computer game called
"Walabers Trampoline".

out of Chicago has asked Pierced for a CD submission to get played on the air. Pierced has also received a message from a producer of MTV/MTV2, asking for some demo material, and the "Knucklehead" guitar string company has asked to endorse Pierced.

Right now Pierced is not playing many shows. But the future looks to be promising. Pierced's biggest concern right now is making some killer recordings for their next album to hopefully follow the success of "shed happenings."

Jake is the lead singer and guitarist of Pierced. He enjoys giving plasma for money, but now he is an EMT as well. Jake likes to write songs and spend days on end in the recording shed. Some of Jake's favorite bands are L.I.T, Midtown, DC Talk, blink 182, Panic! at the Disco, Audio Adrenaline, Fall Out Boy, and Green Day. "My current favorite food is ramen noodles cause they're just so salty and good."
Nick, the drummer. Nick has been playing drums since grade school. He initially liked classic rock, and bands like Boston, Rush, and The Who. Now he listens primarily to progessive rock and progressive metal for their amazing drums and showcases of real talent. He once wrote and recorded a song that describes his hatred of simplistic "four chord" pop-punk music. He likes to play drum parts that are out of the normal scope for pop-punk and rock. Every once in a while, he'll throw in a drum part like mike portnoy or his drum hero Neil Peart. Nick personally mixes and masters Pierced's new music to the best of his ability (in the shed). Nick is a pizza delivery guy.
Tom, the bassist. Tom instigated the start of Pierced. Back in the early days at Parkview High School, Tom asked Jake to come over and play some guitar with himself and Nick. Since then, the band has come a long way. Some of Tom's favorite bands are Relient k, Audio Adrenaline, Spoken, and Grammatrain. Among Tom's favorite sayings is "you dumbo pansis francis," which he frequently calls people who are currently being dumb.
Brandon, the lead guitarist, joined Pierced half way through the summer of 2005. His amazing guitar talent has made Pierced's new sound extremely innovative. He has played guitar since he was about 14, and some of his favorite bands are System of A Down, Nirvana, Queens of The Stone Age, and Tool. Brandon and Jake have been good friends since the 7th grade, and they played in a band called
Jamron
. Aside from amazing guitar solos, brandon also wrote songs such as "Every Action", and "Slow Down". He also mixed all the recordings on "shed happenings." Brandon can also hear pitches and tell you what note they are. I know...how the heck do you do that?
This is the shed that Pierced records in. A while ago, Jake went into the shed to record a guitar part, and he opened up his guitar case and found a mouse with 3 little babies. So, he quick grabbed his guitar and shut the case and started recording.

There is currently a search for two types of bands for record label consideration.
*** Note: PLEASE IDENTIFY IF YOU ARE IN GROUP 1 OR 2 IN YOUR RESPONSE. Emails are being reviewed by different representatives.
1. A Pop/Rock/Commercial band with female lead. Band must consist of 2 guitars (Prefer both guitar players to be of lead caliber. However, one lead and one rhythm is acceptable), keyboard/piano, bass, and drums. Lead vocal, followed by backing vocals, in that order, is a plus as it relates to other members of the group. Average age of the band cannot exceed 28 years of age.
* Group must have an outstanding lead vocalist. ** Musicianship throughout the entire band must be very strong. *** Group cannot currently be under any contract of any type that is related to the music industry.
2. A Modern Rock band with male lead. Must be a complete band but there are no prerequisites as it relates to the make up of the band. Average age of the band cannot exceed 23 years of age.
* Group must have an outstanding lead vocalist. ** Musicianship throughout the entire band must be very strong. *** Group cannot currently be under any contract of any type that is related to the music industry.
