Pierluigi Giombini è compositore, arrangiatore e produttore di molti brani di grande successo internazionale degli anni 80' tra cui "I like Chopin", "Masterpiece", "Lunatic", "Dolce vita", "Am-Fm", "You are a danger"..intorno al 2000 ha prodotto il progetto WEB ottenendo buon successo in molti paesi nel mondo in particolare con il brano "Lovin' times"..
Pierluigi Giombini was born in Rome in a family of musicians: his Father was a composer, his Grandfather was a music professor specialized in the Oboe who also played in orchestras. He therefore had been introduced at an early age to the classics and progressed to study Piano and composition at the conservatory. While he was studying the classics he also listened to 70's progressive rock groups, Emerson Lake and Palmer in particular, and Wendy Carlos. It was Wendy Carlos 'Switched On Bach' records that inspired him to study and create the Synth sounds that he later used on his hit records in the 80s. Even now he still use Synths for his current projects such as "WEB".
He wrote, arranged and produced international successes such as "I like Chopin" for "Gazebo", "Dolce vita" for "Ryan Paris", "Lovin' times" for "Web" etc.etc. that total over 12.000.000 records sold and have hit the top-ten charts all over the world.
He is a composer, writer, arranger, keyboard player, programmer and last but not least producer for his songs. His compositions can vary from rock to techno-dance, from experimental music to music for films, video etc...

I had the great honour of crossing some emails w/ you last year :) Today I was watching a Chinese blockbuster titled "CJ7" about famed director S.Chow and could not be happier when I noticed "I like Chopin" all over in the soundtrack !!!
