A écouter dans NEXT

BLACKPOOL

Avec leur album French F**ckers porté en étendard, les cinq Français de Blackpool semblent lancer à tous les groupes brit-pop de tout poil un "à nous deux" crânement gonflé.
Et pourtant, le défi est bel et bien relevé avec ce que l'on est forcé d'appeler un feu d'artifice de tubes efficaces donnant envie d'aller fêter le rock sur les dancefloors.
Le groupe restitue l'esprit Madchester des Happy Mondays mais assorti de références périphériques (Pavement, la musique électronique) qui font tout le sel de la musique de Blackpool. Rock on !
