Short BIO
I've been playing the bass in several bands, projects and orchestra's the last 13 years. I bought my first bass when I was 15, after several years of musical exploration I started my musical education at Bass and Guitar school Stan vd Kerkhof wich I finished 4 years later in 2001.
My first band was the trashmetal band Reincarnage, we started it when I was 16 together with friends (Marc Bruijn, Danny Tunker, Rikkert Koppes and David Jones), when reincarnage splitted up in 2000 I formed Tweezer. The style was more rock with stoner influences. Tweezer was Marc Bruijn, Dannielle and Marc Tempelaars. This band existed for 2 years. Then I joined one of my current bands Trisomy. Trisomy's music can be described as: femal fronted metal, a bit progressive, gothic. Check out our website at trisomy.nl. We've been playing internationaly with known acts such as Paradise Lost, After Forever, Epica, The Gathering, Delain, Sun Caged, To Elysium and Orphanage.
From 2003-2007 I played in In-Tension. The Dutch progressive rockband In-Tension exists since late 2002. It's a band with an easily recognizable own sound with influences from both progressive rock and fusion. The band members have acquired their reputation with bands like In Cryptic Form, Inner Strength, GuessStation and Images and Dreams.
Besides playing in bands I played the bass in a wide variety of projects, productions, stand-in jobs or being a temporary replacement. Recent examples are Musical Fame and Hair, Halfvol, The Saturnine, Preuteleute and several orchestra's.
During the years I learned a lot, but i'm still learning. I think the key is to play with many different people, people who do new stuff on their instruments and in their songwriting that inspires you to learn that particular technique also.
Beside playing in Preuteleute and Trisomy I write a lot of stuff that I record with various artist friends. The style is a mix of my influences. I hope to finish some new work this year.
Where did I play: Big venues like 013 and P60, clubs like de Boerderij, Lucky and the Mezz. International places wich names I don't even remember ;-). Theathers like Stads-schouwburg Eindhoven. Many outdoor and indoor festivals such as Summer darnkness......... and many more.

It's an East-German (Berlin) Trabant 601 '78 painted by Berlin wall artist Thierry Noir. Thierry Noir painted big sections of the Berlin Wall and a serie Trabants for U2's Zooropa '93 Tour. When I bought this one (2005) it was in a bad state, now it's on dutch license (7-2006) and runnin' nicely on 2-stroke fuel and 6 volts! GO TRABI GO!

Hallo myspacevrienden, ik heb een probleem met mijn myspacepagina. Ik denk dat hij gehackt is. Wanneer ik niet online ben, ben ik volgens mijn status wel online. De twee diavoorstellingen van mijn foto's zijn vanmorgen verwijderd terwijl ik zelf niet op de computer gezeten heb. En vrienden van me kregen adult-mails van mij afkomstig terwijl ik zelf niets verzonden heb. Bij 'berichten' op mijn pagina heb ik zelf niets toegevoegd, en toch waren er pornofoto's door mijn gepost - die ik reeds zelf verwijderd heb. Dit is onaangenaam. Ik heb reeds gemaild naar de myspace-helpdesk om het probleem op te lossen maar heb nog geen reactie gekregen. In elk geval, negeer de komende dagen alle mails die je van mij ontvangt. Sorry voor de overlast! PS Als iemand een oplossing weet voor dit probleem, of het zelf al meegemaakt heeft, laat alstublieft iets weten. Alvast bedankt! Groeten Thibault
