  • General

    Going away to far away places with far away people who speak funny languages and eat funny food and have funny governments (JAPAN!)

  • Music

    Aimee Mann, Green Day, The Feeling, Alanis Morissette, and many songs i hear on people's profiles and decide to nick ;-) Although I draw the line at tripe like the Sugababes or Girls Aloud, better off working down KFC if you ask me, at least there they'll be able to do their job :-)

  • Movies

    Lost in Translation, Magnolia, Butterfly Effect and most films that don't make sense, ooh and Cars and Ice Age and most things with a half decent storyline (thus excluding many 'trilogy' types of films such as the Matrix, Star Wars, Lord of the Rings and that kind of shite)

  • Television

    Usually American commercialised stuff like Lost or Stargate or Family Guy. Also Neighbours, can't miss that ;-)

  • Books

    I don't have enough patience for the intense reading regimes that are required by most books these days. But depressingly, the only books I have ever read fully are along the lines of 'new international relations theory' and 'the perception of social deviance'.
