R&B, pop, old school hip-hop, classic rock, reggae, easy listening are my favorites. But I will listen to just about anything - oldies, punk, classical, country, etc. I have favorite songs of every genre.
Movies
I don't watch movies much, but I I guess my favorites are "The Neverending Story" and "The Matrix."
Television
(When I do watch TV) Prison Break, My Name Is Earl, Heroes, Squidbillies, CSI Miami, Ghost Whisperer, Nature, Spongbob Squarepants, True Hollywood Story, and old sitcoms of the 70's-90's (Good Times, Three's Company, Cheers, Seinfeld, A Different World, Sanford & Son, etc), most stuff on Comedy Central, Dicovery Health Channel, list shows on VH1,
Books
Nonfiction books, the Stephanie Plum series by Janet Evanovich, and my all time favorite is Small Town Expectations, a novel written by yours truly!
Heroes
I admire many people, but don't believe in "heroes." We are all people on the same level with good and bad qualities, fears, flaws, hopes, etc. But if I had to choose one person I admire the most, it would have to be my grandmother. Although we didn't see eye to eye on many things, she was a trailblazing black woman when it was unheard of to be a prominent black, or woman.

I'm going to tell you about me. If you don't like it, oh well I'm not going to apologize. I'm going to tell you about the real me because I'm tired of fakery so I'm not going to perpetrate more fakery.
My name isn't Pije for real but I like that name. I go by a lot of different names in my real life. Pije is my stage name/pen name and what some circles of people call me. My family calls me Suzy and only my family can call me that. Most people I know call me Steph, which is my real name. I grew up in Alabama but I live in Florida now. I don't plan to live here forever. Right now my dream place to live would be in Dubai, but that's always subject to change.
I've been married 3 years and I have a daughter who is 10. I can admit that being a wife and mother are not paths I probably should've taken but I attracted these 2 very wonderful people in my life for a reason and I love them dearly.
I have some psychic abilities and I sometimes communicate with people on the other side. I can't control these things. I probably could but I haven't taken the time to do so. Sometimes I feel more comfortable dealing with the spiritual realm than I do dealing with people on earth, but I'm not looking to join them permanently anytime soon! I am also a pretty good judge of character. I can usually tell how a person is on first sight. Sometimes I will allow people to bullshit me. And like all of us, sometimes I'm so clouded by what I want to believe about a person that I can't see what's really going on.
I consider myself a hippie because I believe in peace on earth and saving the environment and I like to wear hippie-style clothes, but don't judge me if you see me shopping in Wal-Mart or eating at McDonalds because personally I'm not at the point to completely give those things up.
I am a very spiritual person, but I'm not religious. If you are, that's fine with me, I respect your beliefs if you respect mine. I am turned off by people who assume that everybody is a Christian, and if they're not they should be. That is just a closed minded way of thinking. I love to be around open-minded people.
I am interested in anything that is uplifting to the black community, but I'm not interested in anything that is putting down any other race. I'm not 100% black but I'm 100% human so an insult to any race is an insult to me and everybody for that matter. (Back to that open-mindedness!)
And remember that above all, I'm not perfect! If I contradict myself or I'm not all smiles and positive on a given day, it is what it is.
