    In the darkened underbelly of Ipswich, among the dishevelled corpses of Suffolk pig farmers and Saturday night lager boys, something wilful stirred in the summer of 2003. It started with a deep bass click born from pursed lips, booming down the cobbled streets, and bouncing off of corners, into the Black Sheep and beyond, till all of town was nodding to beat of Pikey Esquire. Nobody really knows why Beatboxers come to be – some say a few remarkable individuals get the calling. And Pikey is definitely that, wandering from town to town, jamming with all and sundry from Oxford to Middlesbrough and everything in-between. Fate brought him to the UK Beatbox Championships in 2006, where he narrowly missed total dominance at the hands of the almighty Beardyman, to come a respectable second. Pikey returned as a finalist in 2010, and has once again secured himself a spot in the hotly contested 2011 Grand Slam. But our hero is a diverse chap, having joined up with South London Hip Hop legends, Queens English, playing and touring extensively across the UK and proudly sponsored by THTC. Esquire now has his own project with QE's Leon Rhymes called IJH (I'm Just Happy), spreading beats, rhymes and smiles to the masses. Pikey has also performed on the theatrical stage, having featured in the touring productions of The Wireless Theatre Company and Giant Olive. In his spare time, Pikey is a pretty awesome skateboarder, a dedicated charity fund-raiser and an avid cider drinker. Holla pikey esquire hear to tel you about what i do, Im a beatboxer for Ipswich (england), i have been beatboxing since 2003 and have not really stopped since then I have performed all over the country from middlesbough to oxford, jamed with sax players to people who play flutes what ever they call them selfs I have also entered compotions such as the UK HUMAN BEATBOX CHAMPOINSHIP 2006 we i came second to the dam good Beardy man, I am in the middle of recording and album and will be touring the country in he near future...
