Ce dimanche 10 mai 2009 sera plus inoubliable enkore !
Sur la Place du Musée rekouverte de 800m² de gazon, les Pikniks Elektroniks invitent Pixlmusic et vous proposent une journée et une soirée élektrovisuelles d’ekception.
L'après-midi kommencera komme le meilleur des Pikniks : renkontre et farniente, atelier sonore interaktif, bar-buffet de produits ékitables, et bien sûr, djs élektro aux platines. Enfin, à l’heure où traditionnellement les Pikniks koupent le son, les kollectifs invités par Pixlmusic (AntiVj et Crea-Composite) lanceront leur show visuel " La Fabrique (i)Matérielle ". Le temps pour les Pikniks de mettre leur tenue du soir pour kontinuer à danser dans la nuit…
N’oubliez pas d’enfourcher votre plus belle byciklette kar ce jour sera sans karburant dans le périmètre de la petite ceinture.

Het 2008 Iris Feest was een groot succes voor de Pikniks…
Maar zondag 10 mei 2009 zal nog indrukwekkender worden!
Op het Museumplein, opnieuw bedekt met 800 m² gazon, krijgen jullie een uitzonderlijk elektrovisueel schouwspel aangeboden. Deze keer laat Piknik Elektronik zich trouwens vergezellen door Pixlmusic!
De namiddag gaat van start in de traditionele Pikniksfeer : ontmoetingen en zalig farniente, audio ateliers, buffet bar met fair trade producten en uiteraard een heel scala van live acts en Dj’s achter de draaitafels.
Bij het vallen van de nacht kunnen jullie daarenboven genieten van een show :“La Fabrique (i) Matérielle”, jullie aangeboden door Pixlmusic met haar gasten (AntiVJ en Crea-Composite), dit alles op een lichtgevende metalen structuur

Fresh from playing Fabric in London, Berghain in Berlin and Robert Johnson in Offenbach (3 of the best clubs in the world), Levon Vincent comes to Manna for his 4th DJ set on European soil. As part of the new New York underground house movement (together with Jus Ed, DJ Qu, etc), Levon has been responable for the renaissance of house and techno in New York and is now rapidly spreading his wings, his records causing big waves in the European club scene. A self-confessed scientist working in the field of ass-shakery, Levon has been trained in the do's and don'ts of the club scene in New York since 1992, hanging out with Dee-lite (before they became famous), going to legendary clubs like the Sound Factory and DJ'ing in bars and clubs all over town. His recent podcast for Resident Advisor caused a big stir as well and when he was playing in Germany recently, even magazine Der Spiegel wrote an article about this phenomenon.
Also on the roster is Roger 23. Roger has released on Playhouse, Volt Musik, Baud and Meakusma. His dj sets are ecletic, incorporating house, techno and weird 80's stuff. He is a true craftsman when it comes to Dj'ing, having an amazing talent to 'feel' the dancefloor, mixing in stuff from leftfield, being able to always surprise his audience, without ever losing the groove, although the 'groove' in Roger's hands is totally his own unique voice.

Hubble in wonderland!! The 13th of June is coming closer and closer...
For the first edition we chose for a location well known by us all. The Café Bota Stéreo will be our home base for the night. Hubble (moulton, orphik) is a dj & producer from Berlin will do us the honour by playing at the first edition of 'In Wonderland'.
As second guest we invited DanceMachine who will perform the warm up as well as resident Mike Cox. DanceMachine is a young talented djette rising in the Brussels electronic music scene. Her mixture of melodic tech house and deep minimal sounds makes you scream for more.. To close our evening residents Arno Kenis and Jonatan aka Analog will take you on a journey between techno, house and minimal while they play together as one.
