It's so hard to quantify this, but in the classic desert island scenario, albums I'd need would be: Ramones (probably all, but definitely the first 3), Stiff Little Fingers; Nobody's Heroes, Inflammable Material; Billy Bragg, Workers' Playtime; English Beat, Just Can't Stop It; Specials (first album); Pogues, If I should fall from grace with God; Pixies, Come on Pilgrim; Pixies, Surfer Rosa; Smiths, Queen is Dead...At this point, can you tell I'm old? Me too. Depressing, but what beautiful music I got to experience in my fucked up formative years. Good, more: Snuff, Beltones, Arctic Monkeys, The View, Glasvegas, The Courteeners, Bromheads Jacket, Chixdiggit, Iggy Pop/Stooges, The Clash, The Queers, Penis Fly Trap, Kermit's Finger, Darkbuster, The Living End, The Lemonheads, The Libertines, Jesus & Mary Chain, The Jam, AC/DC, The Cramps, Camper Van Beethoven, The Replacements, '60s-era Kinks, Who, 'Stones, Social D., Johnny Cash and a bunch more I can't think of at the moment....
