"Visualize that NOVY SVET obtained at its disposal the symphonic orchestra. Visualize that IN SLAUGHTER NATIVES was invited to write soundtrack to the new Tarantino movie."
-Stigmata Magazine
"Symphonic, melodic, using classic samples, Gregorian chants...influenced by early LAIBACH, AUTOPSIA and C.M.I. acts."
-Nuit et Brouillard
Simply said, excellent and powerful neoclassical music, martial and pompous, with a huge symphonic sound, lots of horns and absolutely hypnotic and trance-inducing percussions. Somewhere between Toroidh, Karjalan Sissit and Allerseelen (for the warm classical loops and tribal/ritual rhythms).

From our neighbor country in the east (Finland) comes PIMENTOLA. After 10 years and a good selection of releases, such as the highly praised album "MM-MMV" on Twilight Records; we are most proud to present the new album: MISANTROPOLIS.
Presented in a luxurious silver foilprinted 6-panel digipak and features guest appearances by members of the well-renowned folk music group Garmarna, the neo-classical project Dead Man's Hill, a fantastic and bizarre cabaret/musical style vocal performance by Aprox. and a remix by Somnivore.
Misantropolis introduces more vocals than on past Pimentola releases; hysteric screams, gloomy choirs/harmonies; hand in had with electronic sounds, samplings and acoustic instruments; accordion, violins, theremin, metal percussions and various kinds of drums.
Ten ill star prayers from the Black Globe; an end of times sound-work ranging from martial neoclassical to drum n' bRass and tripjazz. Paralyzing absinthe nightmares morphed with opiatic tunes of the orient.

Pimentola was formed sometime in the late winter of the year 1996 by Lempo and Turja. Pimentola's purpose was to create dark/black metal influenced metal with a form and lyrics that were heavily based on ancient Finnish beliefs and mythology (mostly Kalevala). After the first demo Pimentola continued as a one man band of Lempo. On the second demo the style of music was already more synth based dark metal with machine drums. A MCDR released next, in 2000, was drastically different in style, being neoclassical instrumental music. Later on, the music of Pimentola has reached out to new dimensions still, sounding nowadays something like orchestral/industrial with slight ethnic and tribal influences...remaining still instrumental, but with occasional samples of the human voice. The music of Pimentola is currently very much depending on samples, which have been obtained from various sources, or sometimes self-produced. Keyboards and real acoustic instruments are still included though.
Pimentola is considering life-performances, due to demand. A solution to how to actually realize a live situation still isnt very clear though...
As winter hibernation and spring awakening gives way to summer, Halo Manash rises radiant into luminosity, with wings spread into all worlds, and brings forth Taiwaskivi, an opulent work of solar ambience and primordial Ur-music.
Taiwaskivi, a work of sonic flame and aural ash, consists of seven interrelated tracks, utilizing such diverse instrumentation as organ, horns, vocals, drums, gongs, percussions and various string instruments as well as field-recordings captured during the pilgrimage that the creation of the work embodies.
An air of finality abounds, as Taiwaskivi, although a complete work in itself, can also be viewed as the third and final facet of a tripartite series of works that are part of one holistic creation – a treelogy, with seed, root, trunk and finally, branches. Being the culmination of an ascending journey through the aforementioned realms within and without, Taiwaskivi is the celestial crown at the peak, reaching toward Sol, source and beyond; it is the leaves and fruit of the branches and their skybound nectar ever-flowing - the sacred fire, the consummation and conjunction of All.
Comes in a hand finished cardboard booklet. Two different editions are available; regular CD edition and CD + DVD with inserts. Both are limited to 500 copies.
