About me:
Started playing sax at the age of 14 after seeing "Mo'betta Blues". Performed with "Uprising" for several years playing places up and down the east coast including broadway. Attended Berklee and just graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University with a bachelors in Jazz Performance. I've studied the Tenor and Soprano saxophone for 15 years. I love all forms of music, But studying jazz gives me a formula to understand other artforms. I've played with Ravi Coltrane, Mulgrew Miller, Alvester Garnett, Chris Dave, Jeremy Pelt, Nate Smith(currently with Dave Holland and Chris Potter), Sam Kininger and Renee Marie. My goal is to create new possibilities through music. I love serving my country with swing!
