violin, theremin, bass guitar, law enforcement, religious topics, true crime, forensics, metalsmithing, jogging, biking, swimming, cats, travel to other countries, alternative media, firearms, tattoos, photography.
Music
I used to have a massive list here, but it looked stupid. I like 80s music, new wave, old goth rock, electro, old school industrial, trashy dance music, retarded hip hop, selected hits from the 90s, metal, grunge from the kurt cobain era, black metal, progressive rock, and of course, being a violinist, classical.
Oh and uh...
Amazing guitarist and pretty too.
Movies
Too many to list. But especially love David Lynch films/tv, Stanley Kubrick films, disaster movies, films with a "twist", weird retro horror movies, Quentin Tarantino flicks, and really corny teen movies.
Television
LOST, Anything on truTV, Twin Peaks, The Boondocks, It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, Dexter, and The First 48 and other "reality" forensic shows. And I love watching Conan before I fall asleep. : )
Books
True crime stuff, trashy adventure fiction, sci-fi, horror, spiritual fiction and nonfiction, and religious studies. And Les Mis.
My name is Annette, I'm a violinist, I'm a music teacher, and I work in a violin shop. I've been wrestling with thoughts of a career change (totally new field) but then I had an extremely eerie tarot reading in New Orleans that made me want to stick to my guns... I'm only half joking. : )
My husband is an amazing programmer, musician, studio technician, and crumper. Ok, maybe he is not a fantastic crumper. But we can dream. He is an audiophile and great at what he does. We have two cats, Zoe and Uncle Ruckus. They are cooler than your cats, promise.
We are expecting our first baby in May. : )
Stuff I like is over there in the interests section. But generally, I enjoy music, jogging, 5ks, SOCCER, the gym, truTv and all things true crime/forensic science, reading anything from news to sci fi, shopping, photography, and driving my car. :D Never thought I'd say that. But apparently I'm turning into one of those kooky Volkswagen lovers. I also enjoy a mocha latte in the afternoons or a chai tea, smoking Djarum Black cloves, and serial dvd watching.
That's pretty much it. My life is a more or less uneventful and quiet one. Someone once told me I should stick with it and make it work. :P And there you have it.
SIDE NOTE: I cannot receive messages from anyone who is not already a friend. If you wish to be friends, friend away! If you think your request may not be approved, I can pretty much guarantee you're right. : P Follow yer gut. lol.
Who I'd like to meet: Cat people.
and REALLY REALLY funny people. : ) Like Bill Hader. I love you, Bill!!

that's cool. i managed to cop out of the summer musical that's done here in laredo every summer. that would've driven me crazy like it has 4 the last 5 years. about the partying, i can't guarantee that i won't over do it...within reason of course.
kinda. i failed my music history class...sucked balls anyway. didn't even show up 2 the final. the rest seemed 2 go ok. as far as summer goes, i was a huge bum 4 about 3 weeks. slept til 12, partied at night, got home around 3 in the morn every day...fun! but, now i have class, so fun's over. U?
