Pinchbeck is a band – an organism gathered by epical elements and existences. The band was formed in 1998 and is strongly influenzed by psychedelic music, experimental movies and twisted tales. Fueled by a desire to do things differently, they have grown into a true alternative metal performance. Challenging the vast main stream in the Danish Underground. .. Pinchbeck has been playing a wide range of clubs, gigs and festivals during the years, always characterized by an intense evocative stage performance. Nine years after the formation the band self-recorded and produced a conceptual album entitled; nine point circuit. A cocktail of rock, metal and storytelling, that showed the world how strange, organic and timeless Pinchbeck always will be. .. .. NINE POINT CIRCUIT .... .. .... Nine Point Circuit is a story of a person who wakes up in a waiting room - lost in transition - between multiple worlds. From a dead isolated zero, the person begins a mindblowing journey through time. A psycological experience to recollect the missing pieces of his origin. It is a travelling tale through nine chapters of inner life and outer death. .. Keep looking... .. ..REVIEW BY GAFFA (danish magazine).... ***** july 07. Et tungt Københavnsk band. Et af den slags metalbands der lyder som om de skriver sange, og ikke bare sætter riffs sammen. Det er en sej omgang metal-rock, der både trækker på den mørke stemning fra Tool, drivet fra Alice in Chains og det drømmende fra ISIS. Der er ikke en finger at sætte på nogle af musikerne, og bandfornemmelsen er så sikker at der faktisk ikke rigtig er nogen af dem der stikker ud... For en gang skyld betyder modent ikke kedeligt, men derimod en tiltro på eget materiale og evne til at undgå de nemme løsninger: Tempoet bliver holdt nede, vokalen ligger perfekt og messende, bassen er melodisk istedet for pumpende og der er masser af stykker i sangene. Det betyder at de fleste nok vil have lidt svært ved at komme ind på Pinchbeck, men også at dem der gider det får rigeligt tilbage..... ..OVERFLOW.... .... .. In 2001 pinchbeck released overflow.
