Sounds Like
Pinebox Destiny's sound is very textured with layered vocals and guitars. From heavy riffs to melodic choruses they are a sound of their own.
We want to give a special thank you to Dawn Elizabeth and Kurtis Pauff. Both are very dear friends of ours, and they both have done some really great things for us. Dawn Elizabeth took some amazing photos of the band, and Curtis Pauff does some pretty wicked work with our flyers and posters; they are the bomb! Take a look on our page and see for yourselves! Again, thank you Dawn and Kurt, you are both extremely creative and talented. We sincerely appreciate you two!

DIRTY SHAME
FALLING IN LUST
Pinebox Destiny is not about being obsessed with death....it's about being obsessed with life. Will you fit your pinebox? Will your life be bigger than the coffin your body will be buried in? Wrestle not with the past, and schedule not tomorrow, because now is what we have.
In November of 2004 Chad Blanton and Robbie Hall, formerly of Greasepaint, reformed as Pinebox Destiny. They added soul singer Adrian Warwick, guitarist Stephen Joyner, and bassist Brad Barrett. Soon after, vocalist, Joey Miller came on board to add a little nitty gritty to the mix.
In the spring of 2005, just as they had gotten everything together to record, drummer Robbie Hall left the group. They were fortunate enough to find Justin Francois, who quickly learned the material, making a smooth transition into the band.
Pinebox Destinys debut album, "Dark Before Noon" was laid down in July of 2005 and hit stores in April of 2006.
In May 2006, Justin informed the group that he was leaving the band and also being deployed to Iraq. Once again, Pinebox found themselves lacking a drummer, but this time at the height of their popularity.
The group began looking for a new, permanent drummer. Their search brought them to Joel Highsmith, a young musician from the local band Unspokn. It was an odd pairing, but it worked well and only got better.
In September 2006, Joey Miller left the band for creative differences.
Pinebox Destinys lineup is as follows: Brad Barret Bass/Vocals, Chad Blanton Guitar/Vocals, Joel Highsmith Drums, Stephen Joyner Guitar/Vocals, and Adrian Warwick Lead Vocals
Currently, the band is hard at work finishing up new material for another album.
Pinebox Destinys music is a high energy in your face blend of metal, soul, and rockin' roll. With heavy riffs that effortlessly flow into melodic choruses, Pinebox's textured sound is definitely their own. Warwicks lyrics are profound and his vocals are soulful.
Members are all from Fayetteville and have all come from North Carolina bands such as Prodical Son, Greasepaint, Liquid Skin, Judahfly, Dionysus, and Unspokn.
Pinebox Destiny has shared the stage with the following national bands: Non Point, Burn Season, The Black Maria, RA, Til We Die , Silent Civilian, Bleed The Sky, Byzantine , Devil Driver, Tantric , Powerman 5000 , Diecast , Drowning Pool and 10 years.

Music Scene Party Wednesday July 8th @ The Rock Shop
Of course everyone is invited but if you are in a local band you should really send at least 1 person out there. You can't very well expect the bars to support your band if you don't support the bars.
MessageThe Rock Shop and let them know roughly how many people to expect so that they can provide enough FREE food for everyone, and there will be bands there playing for free as well and anything you want to drink for $3.
This is an excellent opportunity for bands, recording studios, graphic artists and anyone else involved in the music scene to meet each other and network together. So come out and have a good time and get to know some of the people who make Fayetteville's Music Scene.
