En juin 2005, Ping Machine remporte deux prix au Tremplin Européen Salon de Provence organisé par l’IMFP et présidé par François Jeanneau: le 1er prix de soliste pour son batteur Rafael Koerner et le prix de la SPEDIDAM pour l’ensemble du groupe.
“Cet orchestre hors normes a séduit le jury et le public par son enthousiasme et l’originalité des morceaux proposés. Chacun y a sa place, les conversations entre les musiciens sont un régal.” (ifmp, juin 2005)
En septembre 2006, Ping Machine obtient le 1er prix de composition et le 2ème prix de groupe aux 6e Trophées du SUNSET-SUNSIDE.

En trois ans, Ping Machine s’est produit régulièrement - à raison d’une fois par mois - à Paris et en banlieue: le Sunset-Sunside, les 7 Lézards, le Triton etc. Et dans le cadre de festival ou de concours : festival de Conflans-Sainte-Honorine, Journée du jazz d’Ivry-sur-Seine, Tremplin Européen des Écoles de Jazz de Salon de Provence, Finale du Festival Jazz à Saint-Germain-des-Près, Finale du Concours National de Jazz à la Défense etc.
En octobre 2006, Ping Machine a enregistré un disque au studio Guimick. Invités sur le disque : Antoine Berjeaut, trompettiste du Surnatural Orchestra, Tom McCLUNG, pianiste collaborateur d’Archie Shepp.
Plusieurs musiciens du groupe sont membres du SPOUMJ (Sound Painting Orchestra De l'Union des Musiciens de Jazz) et travaillent le Sound Painting sous la direction de François Jeanneau, ainsi que dans l'ensemble contemporain de Sound Painting AMALGAMMES dirigé par Christophe Mangou.

In june '05, Ping machine took 2 prizes at the Europeen Jazz School Contest at IMFP in Salon-de-Provence (foreman of the jury: acclaimed
musician François Jeanneau): 1st prize for best soloist Rafaël Koerner (drums) and the SPEDIDAM award for the band (2000€).

In 3 years, Ping Machine has performed regularly in clubs and concert
halls in and around Paris: The Sunset-Sunside, The 7 Lézards, The Triton etc. As well as participating in many festivals and national

After recording some of Fred’s compositions in studio by the end of ‘06, the band is currently working on new compositions since october 07.
